Ruby is a plus size girl who has just started her masters degree in the US. She has everything going for her professionally, but her personal life is in shambles. Alone for the first time in her twenties, after her long term boyfriend breaks up with her out of the blue, Ruby is trying to navigate living on her own. It doesn't help that her best friend is getting married and her parents keep pressuring her to settle down soon. In the midst of this, Ruby comes across her dream man one fateful day on campus. He looks too good to be true, but coincidences keep happening, almost like destiny is bringing them together. Her friends tell her it must be fate, but she still feels he is out of her league...or is he?
